SHALOM FARM

With their desire to see others empowered and the Gospel message impact lives with tangible holistic transformation, Siriwan and Wichian Trakunhan have also launched a community development and sustainable living project with a vision to expand this discipleship ministry even further. The project is called Shalom Farm.

Shalom Farm has over 1000 papaya trees, 500 cacao trees and various other forms of agriculture and husbandry.  In 2020, the couple invested their own funds to offer self-sustaining employment to those in need while discipling them in the words and ways of Jesus. Today, this farm is producing so much fruit that it is being given away to members of the community and women in the juvenile prison. Profits are even used to help cover schooling costs for local children.

With Siriwan and Wichian devoting more of their time to this venture, there are currently several interns from Naomi House who are being trained on the farm, with more anticipated to join from other MB church plants. However, though bathroom facilities were just recently established for use on the farm, they still sleep in tents without proper accommodations.  There is an urgent need to build lodging for themselves and for those that are being and will be trained at the farm.
